Meuwissen Industrie B.V. was founded by ir J.C. Meuwissen in 1954. In 1973, the factory was struck by a fire after which, ir J.H. Meuwissen, the son of the founder rebuild and modernised our production and boosted our business into a well known player in an international market of industrial packaging.
Our company has always been actively involved in the coating of foils and papers, especially during the first 50 years. Starting with bitumen on paper. In the 1960's the first extrusion line was developed. Our crepe-line has been the widest (230 cm) for many decades.
In the 1980's bitumen was completely phased out by extrusion of polyolefines. At the end of the 1990's a new 3.2 meter wide coextrusion/lamination line was introduced to join the existing machines.
Creping of paper has been a steady factor for many years. Key knowledge of the company is therefore a mixture of know-how in paper and plastics often reinforced with a scrim or fabric as an upgrade or transformation.
Today, Meuwissen Industrie B.V. is still an independent privately owned company that aims to serve the B to B market with flexible products that add values to its customers in a flexible way.
Ever since the beginning, we try to improve our quality constantly by:
developing solutions that meet the customer's needs
optimize the process of making your product
