Meuwissen invests in new 5 m wide rewinder.

In order to be able to compete with high rewinding costs at wide dimensions, Meuwissen invested in a 5 meter wide rewinder. The rewinder is able to deal with large heavy rolls with dimensions up to 5 m wide.

"With this new piece of equipment, we are able to unleash the tension on our 3,2 m wide automatic slitter rewinder", Chris Mostert says. As production manager, Chris is responsable for the choice of new equipment.

Allthough a stop on all investments was dictated in January this year, due to the consequences of the financial crisis, our management decided to let this one pass.

"It was a good deal" Reinoud van den Hout, our managing director said, "And in the end this investment will save a lot of rewinding costs."
