Polycrepe is a creped kraftpaper with a special coating that makes this paper water-reppellant. The product is supplied in rolls after which the headliner producer cutts sheets in de required dimensions.

Polycrepe is used as bottom layer in the mold. The different substrates and foamlayers are positioned in the mold after which the whole composition is processed in a vacuum press.

When the laminate is cured, the head liner is taken out of the mold and the liner is ready for assembly.
The paperlayer remains visible at the back of the headliner.

Polycrepe is extremely stretchable. This is how the paper can be stretched and formed when the laminatd layers are pressed into shape
