Meuwissen to lay off 30 % of personell in order to survive crisis.



All markets that Meuwissen is active in, suffer from a severe drop in sales as of October 2008. This is why our management took immediate action in december last year to prepair a drastic reorganisation. In february 2009. Over 25 people had to leave our company. 

Both production workers and overhead personnel experienced the cut in headcount. However, all productionlines can still be operational in 3 shifts allthough not all at the same shift.

The production capacity is well fitt to cope with the reduced workload. All customers can count on proper and in time deliveries and what's more, they can count on Meuwissen in the future as well.
